Who Are The Sponsors Of Boko Haram? In Medicine the surest and quickest way to treat an illness is to tackle it from the root cause. We do not bother about the symptoms of the disease, instead we focus on the cause of the problem. For instance if a patient is infected with Tuberculosis, one of the symptoms of TB is productive cough with blood in the sputum. We dont treat the cough but rather we attack the causative organism, which is Mycobacteria Tuberculosis with a battery of anti-infective agents with different mechanism of actions attacking different stages of the life cycle and pathogenesis of the parasite. Once we eradicate the Mycobacteria spp, all signs and symptoms associated with TB will resolved naturally and fizzled out. Thats the simple logic of cause and effects! The same opinion hold true as the surest and safest way to combat Boko Haram insurgency. Get the sponsors who are the brain box of the sect and the foot soldiers will whither away and die of starvation. President Jonathan raised our hopes when he admitted that there are persons sponsoring Boko Haram in his government. He disappointed us when his liver failed him and he refused to exposed them due to lack of courage. Now that the Nigerian Army has come out to admit that they are investigating politicians whose Identify Cards they found in a camp operated by Boko Haram, will they at least do the needful and expose the sponsors of this murderous sect so that they shall face swift justice? The death toll and collateral damage Boko Haram has caused this nation is not quantifiable and it is about time we stop playing the Ostrich with this grievous crime against humanity. If the military actually have the identity cards of top politicians who are members of the sect, is it not stupid to come to the village square to make such an ordoriferous and malapropos announcement, when the fact that an ID card is found in Sambisa forest does not make the owner culpable in anyway unless after proper investigation surrounding the circumstances leading to how such IDs found their way to the camps of the insurgents is concluded? Having said that,the military owe us their exposure since Preside Jonathan does not have the balls to disclose who are the top dogs in his government hobnobbing with the homicidal maniacs with a virulent strain of extremists religious ideology! Who are the gaddem sponsors of Boko Haram? And let nobody mention Aminu Ogwuche, Kabiru Sokoto and other small fries that the SSS paraded as the Masterminds of various hits by the sect. Those guys do not know jack about the sponsors of the sect, but then at least the SSS must show us something to justify all the trillions that have gone down the drain into private pockets in the fight against terrorism!
