Wisdom Supplement 00992_: The church is relevant to God. It was founded for the edification of brethren. The church is dear to Jesus Christ, and that is why he died to purchase it with his own blood. However, the trials and temptations that the churches of Jesus Christ face today force them to divert from their original purpose. The heavenly bound churches that are meant to edify brethren to remain in faith of Jesus Christ have gradually fallen into the hands of politicians, and other worldly people. The present day churches are caving into mere entertainment, promiscuity, and all other forms of disobedience. However, our various churches must repent from their shortcoming and redirect their attentions to pleasing God. Unbiased gospel must be preached again from the altars, and true love of Jesus Christ must be promoted among brethren. God will definitely bless our churches and help them to productive if they cooperate with him. However, the Creator will not spare his rod of punishments from any church and its leaders that refuse to follow his laws.
