Hr knew God has not forgotten his suffering. Because of that fact, he could say in full confidence, God is for me. Trusting in God’s word, he knew that man is powerless to prevent God from accomplishing His plans. David’s confidence led him to anticipate that God would deliver him from danger so that he might live in obedience before Him. Fear is overcome by applying principles from God’s word to our lives. Yesterday we looked at 2 simple principles we saw David live by when he was afraid. 1 .Rehearse what we know about God and His Word, in our mind (or verbally if necessary) (Psalm 56:4,11) 2. Rest by trusting God in the circumstance.
