i just got home from church. i had planned what i wanted to post. i was feeling so guilty to be ignoring you and not sharing my lessons and my lifes walk to the Lord. i felt guilty being so busy running around, accepting gifts and blessings and not sharing with you. i had planned to start right in sharing the lessons that i would be learning after returning from the military. but that got shot down when i heard the message God shared through the pastor this morning. so im going to share what God put in my heart today. i no longer live in the dark and must return there to share my life. lately ive been so filled by the Spirit that its hard to go back into the dark, today i want to share the light. when you see me do you see the body covered with tattoos, do you see the piercings, do you see the long hair? do you wonder what is going on with this man ? what you see i hope are the scars of a former life, the scars of a fight to find Christ ! i am not the perfect Christian. i swear, i smoke, i sin, i dont pray or read the Bible the way i want to. did i stop doing these things when i found God ? no, God knew i wouldnt just change and become perfect. He knew i would keep doing things i didnt want to do. He gave me free choice, im human. He wants to see what i do with the freedom He has given me. every day i try to do better. i work on swearing less, smoking less, sinning less, praying more, spending more time in His Word. God wants to see my heart, He wants to see the choices i make each day, He wants to see if i use the lessons He has taught me to reach out and share Him with others. God knows your not perfect, He knows would will lay your burdens at His feet and He knows youll sneak back in and take them up again. all God wants is for you to accept the Blood of Christ, take Him into your heart and try to make choices that make Him smile, He just wants to know your trying. He is just like any loving Father, he will forgive you every time you fail, He will lift you up every time you fall. God Loves you, talk with Him Hell tell you Himself. you dont have to be perfect, you just have to TRY to make the right choices. GB
