ok.. it might just be me. But i feel like the school systems out here in cali are full of it. and im only going by my own experience. I feel like my counselor at my high school should have help me prepare for college better...not try and pull me to the side near the end of 12th grade and ask me what i want to do with my life....thats something that i ; feel that he as me counselor, should have me thinking about my first day of school so we can plan out the best way to me future. Things like AVID and the necessary class to get into a four year college should be told to students the first day off 9th grade!
