over the yrs,lets leave out wen messi n ronaldo came into the pix (cuz dey win their trophies based on popularity)...lets count every world cup yr...do u know y in 94 romario won the world best and stoichkov won d european best?do u know y in 98 zidane won the world best n the european best togada?.do u know y in 2002 ronaldo won the world best and the european best togada despite zidanes beautiful cracker dat won real madrid the champs league? do u know y in 2006 fabio cannavaro won the world best and european best even after ronaldinho had single handedly won barcelona the champs league in 2006? my brothers,i was part of the group dat agitated for the change of the format of the den world best winner being chosen by the french magazine...FIFA den changed the format and gave the big choice to national team and captains voting and ronaldo n messi have benefited hugely from dat cuz of their popularity...realistically,the world cup is the biggest showpiece.if ronaldo won la decima n scored 17 goals and all dat,i guess he did dat in europe and dat is y he won the european best recently....now the world cup.....ronaldo played...muller won the silver ball and silver boot...Neuer won the golden gloves and we all know how he helped Germany achieve the ultimate...Messi won the Golden boot...so how doesn ronaldo come in?????????????any way, platini has already told him to 4get aba the balon dor cuz he doesnt deserve it..period.
