so, this is the beginning of my speech... Gabby Ottley Doctor Who Intro- Have you ever heard of or watched Doctor Who?! You probably have. But, most of you probably saw one episode and stopped because it was too “weird”.. Or! You secretly watch it in your basement and not tell anyone because your fear of being judged. Well, i’m not afraid to say, i’m a whovian. Not, a nerd. Preview- In this here speech, I will be telling you three things about Doctor who. The doctors (except the newer one), and i’ll say some background on each. I’ll talk about their second in commands and some back story on them. Then, to finish it off i’ll talk about what I think the purpose of Doctor Who was and is. main point 1- First off, i’m going to start with the best Doctor, well, in my opinion. The best Doctor to me was David tennant, which was the tenth doctor. He’s the one that got me into Doctor Who. David Tennant, like all the other Doctors, is British. While he was Doctor he served 5 years as the best Doctor around. He’s one of the most favorited Doctors, when he was killed off the show, it caused heart break in the whovian world. He’s the one that kicked off the newer seasons of Doctor Who after the ninth Doctor failed miserably. Although he was killed off, no one can forget that he was the true Doctor. My next favorite was Matt Smith, although they killed him off just when I finally got use to him, he was also one of my favorites. Matt Smith wasnt one of the most loved and I wasn’t all that sad when he was killed off. But, the worst thing was, they killed him off on Christmas, who does that?! Anyways, Matt Smith, one of the youngest Doctors randomly showed up as the eleventh Doctor as a replacement for David. Matt served from 2010-Christmas of 2013. He was one of the most adorkable Doctors, but the strangest. He didn’t do better than David. But, he did better than the ninth. Which leads me to the ninth Doctor,Christopher Eccleston. The one I hated most of all. He was obnoxious, rude, inconsiderate, and self centered, in my opinion. He did start the first season of the newer Doctor Who’s. But, he started it off terribly. He only served one season. then David took over.
