105.7 WROR/Boston continues to lose listeners for dropping a show which played all of the hits from the 70s & 80s; not just 5% of them! Listen 24.7 on our own website lost45 dot com. >rwilliams@greatermediaboston Hello Mr. Williams, first off I am a great fan of the Lauren and Wally Show, I listen to it every morning and those guys have the best morning show in the country. Unfortunately, when it is time for them to play a song, I shut off the radio, w, ait 3-4 minutes and then turn it back on again. To put it bluntly, the music is horrible. Maybe horrible is too harsh a word, but for us over the age of 35, we have heard these songs over and over again forever. I wish Barry Scott at the Lost 45s made the decisions as to what you play, it would be far more interesting. I know it sounds risky Mr. Williams, but changing the format to songs we haven’t heard in a long time (they are still hits!) would make you the talk of the town, and people would be interested again. As of now, the format at your station is incredibly boring. I can tell you for sure nobody in my age bracket wants to hear Piano Man again. Letting go the Lost 45s was a big disappointment, you should have it back with a 5 hour format in the afternoon, and your rating would soar. If you don’t believe me, have Lauren and Wally do a poll in the morning and you will see. Thanks for listening. Ed S.
