11:45 AM EDT Fire breaks out at Maharajgunj ‚ contained KATHMANDU: A fire broke out at RP Restaurant nearby Maharajgunj- based Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) leaving restaurant owner and cook injured on Monday morning. The fire began at around 10:30 am after a cooking gas cylinder in the restaurant kitchen exploded. The fire was extinguished by the fire fighters of Nepal Army, Nepal Police and Armed Police Force backed by fire engines about half an hour later. Talking to THT Online, DSP Pramod Dhakal informed that two injured — cook Narendra Basnet and owner Ranju Humagain— who sustained burn injuries are receiving treatment at TUTH.
