The Thursday night NFL match-up of the Chicago Bears against the Jacksonville Jaguars featured a down to the wire dash by former Chattooga High School star athlete Senorise Perry to lead the Bears to victory. The Bears rallied for the win late in the fourth quarter, despite some serious problems for the team in last nights game. At the end of the first quarter the Bears had not even scored but by the end of the fourth quarter, when it seemed that Chicago would not improve their pre-season record to 2-0, the Bears scored a pair of fourth quarter touchdowns edging them closer to victory. The game came down to the wire with :50 remaining on the clock and a 5 yard dash up the middle by Senorise Perry the Bears came out on top 20-19.
