17 yrs ago I was filmed catering a "Sons of Freedom" video shoot, which led me to producing my own cable access punk rock cooking show "kitchen counter culture", which won a cable ace award in the U.S. which led me to producing VTV Breakfast. In 2000, sick of mainstream media, I flushed my suit down the toilet, and left VTV to work as an outreach worker in the DTES -into a little box I packed away my head shots and demo reels and said good bye to something that I really love (producing good television) Now, suddenly that funny little analog cooking show may be ushering in another opportunity to produce something I have been dreaming of for a very long time. To the very special people who are crazy enough to believe in me (you know who you are) I thank you - even if this doesnt fly - the experience has given me the "audacity of hope" I have been mad at myself for a very long time for not going to school, and having no professional credentials - but I schooled myself, and for that I am grateful to me.
