18 THINGS WE LEARNED FROM KATHRYN BERNARDO 1. Be thankful, even when the circumstances aren’t really that favorable. You just have to look for the silver lining sometimes. 2. Eat you greens.. 3. …but don’t forget to eat what you love, too. 4. Sing your heart out. Kathryn knows that she’s not as good as onscreen partner Daniel Padilla when it comes to singing, but it doesn’t stop her from belting out some tunes. 5. Dance your troubles away. 6. Love your friends 7. Love your family, most of all. 8. Do what you love. 9. Be yourself. 10. Stand by what you believe in. Kath said in a press conference, ”Religion, malaking factor siya para sa ating lahat pero for me pagmahal mo naman ang isang tao, tatanggapin mo kung ano na ang tao na ‘yun. Ako kung ganon na talaga ako, kailangan tanggapin na ‘yun ng isang tao kasi ako na ‘yun eh hindi mo na ‘yun mababago.” 11. Dress up, because you are only young once. 12. Explore the world. 13. Laugh often. 14. Cry when you feel like you need to. 15. Remember that true love waits. Although everybody is bugging her and Daniel about their relationship status, Kath just says, “Basta gusto ko magiging masaya lang ako. Chill lang ako ngayong 18 [na ako]. Ayoko madaliin lahat. Yun ang natutunan ko last year.” 16. And first kisses, too. “Feeling ko it’s too early para sa akin. Kasi parang kapag nasimulan mo na yun, feeling ko, parang kailangan sa lahat ng shows mo ganun ka na,” she says, “Hindi ka na puwedeng tumanggi o magsabi ng ayoko. Nagawa mo na, e. So for me talaga, hindi pa.” 17. Help those who are in need. In an interview with PEP.ph, Kathryn wished the best for everyone this 2014. “Sana magtuluy-tuloy ang blessings na dumadating sa akin, sa family ko and sa mga kaibigan ko.
