2014 was a year filled with highs and lows. It really started with a big cloud over it. But everything turned out pretty good by the end of the year. I can only thank Mary Cronin and all the Cronin family for all the help and patience! And of course my little Emma for being always by my side. :) It was a year where I remembered how much I missed being in the Outdoors, be it sunny or rainy, and all thanks to Nils and his precise organization of walks around Cork. Never forgetting the rainy walkers named The Three Moistketeers by fellow walking buddy Matthew! Lastly this year could not be possible without friends like Lorenzo and Maider and I have to say I was honored to be at their wedding in San Sebastian! Best moments of 2014? - There was the roadtrip across Alentejo with Emma; - Moving to this new and comfy house; - Again that magnificent 24km walk with Nils and Matt - Waking up the next morning, barely able to move but able to lay down on the living room couch, reading a book with the rain gently hitting the window - Being in the Basque country meeting old friends once again and simply exploring this beautiful place. - Waking up on the last day in San Sebastian early in the morning and go for a walk around the rock and being surrounded by children going to the school high in mountain. (probably the school with the best view in the entire world). - And finally, having the opportunity to bring my mom to Ireland to spend xmas and new years here in Ireland. So, thank you everyone! Lets make 2015 an awesome year!
