· 264 HEADMASTERS, 38 PGT, 20 TGT AND 2,469 TEACHERS TO GET APPOINTMENT LETTERS WITHIN A WEEK · FINAL RESULT TO BE UPLOADED ON OFFICIAL WEBSITE: DR CHEEMA Chandigarh, October 14 (Punjab update bureau)- The PunjabEducation Department today completed the most transparent recruitment process 2791 members of teaching faculty in a record time as it announced the result for the recruitment ofHead Masters and Teachers in the state. The result of 2,791 master cadre teachers including 264 Head Masters would be uploaded on the department website educationrecruitmentboardtomorrow. Disclosing this here today the Education Minister Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema informed that 264 Head Masters will be appointed in schools under RMSA. He informed that similarly 38 PGT and 20TGT posts will be filled in Aadarsh Schools. He said that the recruitment process for the selection of 2,469 master cadre teachers under six different subjects has also been completed. He further informed that 548 teachers have been selected for English, 1,282 teachers for Social Sciences, 172 for Maths, 84 of Science, 382 of Punjabi and one for Agriculture. Dr Daljit Singh Cheema informed that the recruitment process has been completed in a fair and transparent manner. “We would be uploading the list of selected candidates on our official website along with the list of candidates who have participated in the counselling along with their merit list. Every candidate can check his marks and merit on the official website,” informed Dr Cheema. The Education Minister said that after taking acceptance letters from the selected candidates, the appointment letters would be issued within a week. He said that once the appointment letters are issued, the selected candidates would be asked to join their duty at the earliest. He congratulated the selected candidatesand urged them to perform their duties with utmost devotion and honesty.
