5th Athens Salsa Spring is officially over!!! What a weekend...full of strong emothions, dancing and tons of fun! I had the oportunity to live 2 of the highlights of my career so far! The first one is that we manage to become champions in our country for the 2nd time and get the ticket to represent Greece for the 4th time in our career directly to the semi-finals at the World Latin Dance Cup! So, a big thanks to Athens Salsa Spring & Mr.Albert Torres for making this possible! The second one is the moment when the legendary Maykel Fonts stoped his class to talk about us and told the students at his workshop that artists & shows like the one we presented, is the image that people should have in their minds about SALSA!!! and it is the way to keep salsa alive! It is really important to hear this from a Cuban artist that everyone in the whole planet respect!!! We really feel honored and full of responsibility for this heavy load! Grazias maestro por su palabras, estamos emocionados!!! Congadulations to our Raggaeton and Kizomba studens for their beautiful presentantions on stage! Keep up the good work guys... Congradulations to the Salsa Spring team for the succesful event! Their efforts paid off! ;) We wanna congrat also all the artists that took part on the competition and working hard for it and of course all the Greek Salsa Schools for their wonderful shows and for helping salsa to grow in Greece! We wanna thank all the people that attended our workshops and watched tour shows! It was great to see old friends and meet new ones! Marco compimenti per il tuo spettacolo e grazie per gli consigli. Ci vediamo presto a Milano! Last but not least, I want to thank Elita & Lefteris who are always next to us! (Love you guys!) My beautiful Stella who supports me and despite the difficulties we manage to keep going and chase our dreams, and ALL our wonderfull students who came to support us and celebrate together! Looking forward to the 6th edition! Que viva la salsa y como dice Albert...una bujaaaaaaaa..... :)
