6th blessing July 14, 2004. The actual date of death. What could possibly be a blessing about this day? 1st, many, many many of Bryans friends, family and coworkers arrived at the hospital. Bryan was extremely loved! The waited most of the day in the surgery center, the halls, outside the ICU walls. Shannon Parsley took over answering Bryans cellphone, Marcy Crowder took care of my kids at my house. Everyone wanted to say something but didnt know even where to begin. I cant blame them...neither did I. 2nd the nurses were outstanding in their care not only of Bryan but of his family. 3rd...God is still in control! Because of where Bryan hit his head, he could have lived but had been a vegetable. Bryan didnt want that, neither did I....please dont view me as harsh but Im very thankful Bryan died instead of living life as a shell. 4th HE WAS AN ORGAN DONOR! To be continued....
