# 7: Den Momenti Sondro Yu (Those Moments without You) (1992) by Ruben del Prado. When Den Momenti Sondro Yu was declared the winning song of Suripop in 1992 (with me in the audience) I was so disappointed and mad at the same time. Little did I know back then that this song was about to become one of my favorite songs of all time. Ruben sang this song with so much passion, so much emotion. One can really experience deep feelings of empathy and nostalgia listening to this song. Having said that: I spent a lot of time exercising on the pavement, listening to this song when I visited the United States and was eager to return to Suriname. One can never forget all those funerals where this song was played, which caused complete silence among the people in the crowd. Another heartbreaking masterpiece. Number 7 on my list of favorite radio songs of all time: Den Momenti Sondro Yu by Ruben del Prado.
