87% Board decisions implemented during last five years in District Anantnag: DDC: Sachnews Jammu Kashmir reporter Farhan Qayoom : ANANTNAG, AUGUST 02: Showing satisfaction over the District Plans being implemented in District Anantnag since over half a decade, DDC Anantnag, Mr. Bashir Ahmad Khan revealed that 87% District Board decisions have been implemented during last five years in the District. During the meeting it was revealed that during annual plan 2013-14, there has been a total availability of Rs. 100.56 Crore for the District, out of which Rs. 97.08 Crore has been expended for the Annual plan. Moreover, 117.64 Crore is the proposed plan for District Anantnag for the Annual plan 2014-15. The DDC took a comprehensive review of the Proposed Plan for the next annual plan in presence of all the District Officers belonging to various Departments namely Agriculture, R & B, Horticulture, Education, Rural Development , Power, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, irrigation & flood control, Cooperative, sheep Husbandry and Health. While addressing the meeting, the DDC stated that there is a growing trend of Good Governance now a days, which is a bright step, however, the progress needs to be speeded up to make the government People oriented. Moreover, he made a point that the whole money belongs to the public, so every step should be taken to use it in the right way. Among others, all District officers including the Chief Planning Officer, Anantnag were present in the meeting.
