A&Im writes : Ive always suffered anxiety, I remember from a young age. In my teens and twenties I also had diagnosis of anorexia, borderline personality disorder, and bipolar disorder type 2. Anxiety is my main problem right now. With a surgical operation coming up next week, my anxiety is really high. My symptoms range from trembling hands, jaw, legs, heart pounding, feeling scared, breathing gets out of control, sweating even though Im cold when Im anxious, appetite issues, problems going out the house alone, and many more things. But does anyone have any advice as to how to cope with anxiety AND a physical problem? Im afraid of going under the knife and am afraid of anaesthetic. But im unwell in my tummy and have no other choice. How can I cope on the day of the op? Im already on 8mg diazepam a day. Thanks in advance xx
