A Tribute to “Goshen’s” Tom Clark Walking down the hallway of Goshen School, if you saw a man giving a Hi-Five or a “Hi Buddy, how are you?” That man would be Goshen’s School Psychologist Tom Clark, and his caring spirit shinning through His thirty-seven years of service reflects the wisdom Clermont County Educational Services showed by his hiring Always child centered, and desiring to do his best by school, parent, and child’s need, he was untiring He wore many hats! Family man, Educator, Sports Official, and friend to students, parents, and school staff Desiring the best for each child he never said, “Do it my way, I know best.” And was never above a ‘good laugh’ He would test, give his professional input, and work with both student and parent, to help the child’s environment improve Hundreds of children have benefited from his knowledge, and the district is grateful for a ‘hero’ whose child he could soothe We’ll never forget Mr. Tom Clark, and he will always have a special place in the Goshen School Community’s heart When it came time to partake in the joint efforts of helping the staff perform a needed service he did his part God Bless you, as you rest from your caring labor of love and devotion to all of our own children’s need May in your latter years you find solace in the fact that you helped many a child, without selflessness or greed Spend your days in sunshine, your nights in peaceful rest Your thoughts reflecting on the past, and the many you blessed Written By Byrlie Golden Gray, wishing good fortune to you As Goshen remembers all the good things you were able to do
