A call for change He that walks in darkness knows not where he is going. Darkness represents emptiness in this life towards God the one who gives life to those who see the need to be in a sincere relationship with Christ. Darkness, are all those thing that we do as people that are in opposition to God’s way of life. Darkness, does not know the Father in a real and productive way that changes the way a people respond to life trails and tribulations that comes upon all of us at one time or another. Believing that Jesus is the answer for mans sins and then accepting this belief in ones hearts causes change and gives instant victory over an enemy that hates us with every fiber of his being. Grace, mercy, peace and love are all a product of Christ dying on the Cross for our sins; sins that we could not pay for in our own abilities. We do not have the means to meet this need in our own selves to make righteous payments to God that are acceptable for our cleansing. If we continue to cling to the darkness trying to be good in our own strength we will miss the mark of holiness, for God says without holiness no one will see God. If we stay in darkness seeing God gave us a way out we will continue to fall short of the love of God that was given to all men freely. Jesus is the light that shines even still today that God gave to us because we could not do it ourselves and it is freely given but it requires much. It requires us allowing Christ Spirit to dwell within us changing us for the better. A life that is ready to be lived through His guidance’s because we say yes to Him; allowing Him to complete the work that only He can do inside of our hearts, minds, bodies and souls. We are at His mercy and we must understand that. He offers us friendship with Himself as well as being adopted into His family and that will never go away. Being in His family being called sons and daughters of the most high is our highest goal. His word says; the stead fast love of the Lord never ceases, His mercies never come to an end. They are new every morning, new every morning great is His faithfulness Oh Lord, great is His faithfulness. James Zeigler September 21, 2013
