A common misconception that a Boilermaker is, just a welder. Theyre not just, welders. Theyre more of a surgeon. Their welds dont just get eyeballed. Their welds have to get x-rayed and pass x-rays tests to be as perfect as can be. These highly skilled boys might be working in 200 degree heat, breathing toxic fumes, a hole 2 feet wide, 4 stories off the ground hanging by their feet, laying down, or with mirrors to see behind things. They are highly skilled craftsmen. I wish I could find more photos or videos. People always ask what my husband does. We need more photos or videos to help explain it.
