A few days ago, a friend of mine showed me this music video from Junior Senior... His pixelart uses simple colors, using only a few smooth techniques. The video is beautiful, but most beautiful than the art itself its the rotation techniques used in the sprites, like the toasts jumping, the zombiess legs (ran by the squirrel), the barn doors opening, the horse preparing to run, the pineapple jumping/banging, the hotdog and ketchup/mustard bottles, the dismantled robot, the cucumber in the eyes of Junior, the champagne bottle jumping and, the most incredible, the squirrel flying on the TIE Fighter at the end. I was discussing with another friend, maybe they used vectors first, then applied some pixelated shader on top, focusing on some pixels that must be visible all the time, like the eyes in everyone, the white dots in Seniors hat, and a lot of other visual things that could be omited if the image was pixelated in an absolute way or something... What do you think about? [Sorry, poor english, brazilian here...]
