A governor stole 75% of a states money to enrich himself, big companies and rich people bribing government officials, and yet ordinary people live below one dollar a day. Public leaders become comfortable stealing peoples money, building mansions, and buying bullet proof cars, while citizens are dying of poverty, poor health, and lack of security.Yet, we celebrate them and praise them when they give us a little from what they pinch away from the treasury. As long as corruption exists, then there will never be a development. The insurgency is the nemesis of corruption. Public leadership are made extremely lucrative, thereby making people to aspire to these positions to enrich themselves. Public leadership suppose to be a service, a sacrifice, and a service to humanity. Public leadership suppose to be physically costing leaders their wealth, and their welfare. The polity is now commercialized, only people with money qualify to contest for public positions, people with integrity (without money) can never make it, because we judge candidates base on their wealth, not knowing that those resources were acquired from a corrupt way. No any public leader should be that rich, unless he/she is corrupt. If someone gives you money to vote for him/her, that candidate is already corrupt, and if you collect, you too you are corrupt. Ordinary people are forced to be corrupt, because they are not provided with basic requirements of their lives. They are left to provide education, mortgage, health, security, food, water and electricity for themselves, and for them to provide these basic requirements, they need money, and this is why some people innocently involve in corruption. However, if government can provide these basic requirements, people wont be that greedy as they become contented. Therefore, the failure of the government is the cause for corruption at grassroots levels. The next general elections is an opportunity to make it right, a chance to make right choice, and door to kick corruption at all levels. Please watch this video to the end.
