A man remains in hospital after being punched to the ground during a fight in Coffs Harbour this morning. The 39-year-old man became involved in an argument with two other men as they stood outside the courthouse on the Pacific Highway about 1.30am (Sunday 25 January 2015). Police from Coffs/Clarence Local Area Command have been told the man fell and hit his head on the concrete footpath after he was punched in the head; the two men then left the area. The man was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance Paramedics before being taken to Coffs Harbour Health Campus. Police have been told the man had a head wound stitched and is being monitored for possible concussion. Police now want to speak to two men they believe can assist with their investigation. The first man is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, aged 30-35, about 168cm tall, with a medium build and long black curly hair. The second man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170cm tall, with a thin build, aged in his mid 20s, and brown hair.
