A sure sign of spring at Grand Traverse Resort and Spa is when The Plaza tent goes up. Wednesday the canopy was erected. Thursday, Barry and Brian from the Resorts Engineering Department put up the interior lights. The Plaza is one of several excellent outdoor venues for spring, summer, and fall barbecue parties, banquet functions, receptions, and of course weddings! In winter, the tent is taken down, and The Plaza does duty as the Resorts ice skating rink.
