A very shameful thing happened today at green park market road, South Delhi. There was a religious procession of Sikhs regarding guru Nanak Jayanti where people were cleaning the road for guru granth sahibs truck to pass. The people behind the truck were eating ice creams and many other things and were throwing wrappers and ice cream cups on the road itself. There was no one who was stopping them from doing so. They turned a very clean and neat road into a garbage spot. I then went to stop them from throwing garbage on the road and there was this one guy who was looking as if he was educated but started fighting with me when I asked him not to throw his garbage on the road. He then started arguing and fighting with me and also abused me verbally and also showed his middle finger. There were educated people in big and fancy cars doing the same. I just want to clear that Im not against any religion or any kind of religious practice but if people cannot change their mentality or habits then they shouldnt crib about these issues as well. People always want the change but no one wants to be one. This mentality of people needs to be changed otherwise we will end up being nowhere.
