AMEN..SO TRUE...I HOPE EVERYONE IS HAVING A GREAT DAY...GOD BLESS YOU. WHAT IS LOVE? Love is he heart of the Christian life style, yet many Christians do not really know how to define it. Jesus said that we must love not only those easy to love, but everyone-thieves, dope addicts, drunkards, even our enemies. Obviously this is not ROMANTIC LOVE, as in the movies. It is not some sort of sentimental, sticky, or sensual feeling, but a matter of discipline that often puts the Christian at odds with society. It involves a loving concern that leads the Christian to help all those who need help. This can only be done by being so open to God that his LOVE works through us. Jesus teaches that doing good is vitally important. But Paul warns us that good works alone wont put us right with God. It takes Gods Grace and mans faith to do that. Yet faith alone is not enough. James tells us that Faith if it hath not works, is dead. Jesus put unusual emphasis on the motive behind actions. Because Pride is a basic human sin, Jesus scorned acts of charity or pity done for SHOW.
