ANNOUNCEMENT: I have always been a passionate man. My love for radio is something that will never die. Even though I never thought I would be on another station again in my career, an opportunity has presented itself here in San Antonio. The city has a new station Hot 104.5 San Antonio that plays todays music along with songs from yesteryear. I have been waiting for a station like this to come to San Antonio for years. There was no way I could not bring myself to apply for it. Instead of being a regular jock, I want to be the station program director, a position that has been recently opened. After weeks of calling and emailing the woman who will be hiring the new PD, I decided to think outside the box. I got my resume, photos, and data for a program director package and put them in a box and wrapped it like a present. (You can see a photo of it on my feed from a few days back) I then took it to her at the station. So once she unwrapped it, she saw first hand my package. Then tonight, I had another opportunity and got a major recording artist to cosign the station to hire me. So I guess this is an announcement, I am applying to be the New Hot 104.5 K-Z-E-P program director. Lets see how this goes. youtu.be/FwVMNlq2VZM
