During his era before he was forced out by Babangida Ibrahim nobody could perform. “Taking a look at Buhari as military man he did well during his stay at Maiduguri and later moved to Jos before becoming Head of State then. I could remember during his regime things are not worst like they are now. I am very close to him and he has been of assistant to me in various ways just like other Nigerians. “Going down memory lane, the Octogenarian recalled that during Buhari’s tenure as a military head of state “corruption was tackled seriously; the security of Nigerians are taken seriously. “The nation’s economy was buoyant. During his tenure we do purchase 10cars at PAN in Kaduna at the rate of N150, 000. I mean new cars. But since Babangida sent them packing things have gone worse.” “APC should not make mistake about not presenting Buhari because he is the only credible leader that can perform and change the fortune of this country. If Buhari is given presidential ticket i will personally campaign for him as old as I am.
