*****ATTENTION***** Hey guys and Gals the holiday season has finally made it here!!. Since this is the season for Thanksgiving I know each and everyone of you are all thankful for many a great things but lets not forget the most important part of the season....the Giving. We have a great number of people who come this season will be giving thanks for the smallest of things like waking up one more day or simply finding scraps for a meal. My church Abundant Life Ministries is reaching out to Birminghams homeless community on Dec 7th by delivering food to those who have not. I feel led to do more for these people in need so i am putting together a clothing drive. (I am not asking you to spend even $1) I am however asking for any clothing that you no longer wear or old blankets, tents, or sleeping bags.( if you wish to purchase items that is great but that is not what i am asking you to do) Size of the clothing is not a big deal as they will be happy to have anything to cover up with. In the event we collect more than enough items we will be donating them to local shelters. Guys i know it is easy to judge the people we see begging for food or money but we have to remember they are ALL GODS CHILDREN and he loves them all just as much as he loves us. The Lord only ask that we plant the seed and then let him water it for our God can grow a tree anywhere and it will bare good fruit but we must first plant the seed. Take the time to imagine that you are outside right now in this cold with no warm place to go. We need all items that will help warm them through to winter. Tommy Barton at Max motorsports has opened up his shop as a place to drop the items. Tommy has also set up Max Motorsports as a sponsor for Toys for Tots and you can make a contribution there.
