Abba Moro Must Go: The consultant that handled the NIS tragedy - TopicsExpress

Abba Moro Must Go: The consultant that handled the NIS tragedy said he made 710million naira from the online registration exercise. He said he remitted 45million naira to NIS as against 200million which was meant for the proper conduct of the examination. It was lack of funds that led to the shoddy organisation of the recruitment exercise. The consultant further said that he was only hired to conduct the online registration alone and not for the conduct of the aptitude test that later resulted in the mass murder of some Nigerian youth. It was also revealed at the senate hearing that all actions and inactions relating to the online registration and the conduct of the aptitude test were wholly taken by Abba Moro without the knowledge of the NIS comptroller-general Parrandang and the board of civil defence, customs and immigration.. By the foregoing, its crystal clear that Abba Moro caused the death of those hapless Nigerians. Therefore, he should be held responsible and summarily dealt with. Besides, the consultant that handled the operation, Maiyaki John or whatever is a fraud. He should be blacklisted by the federal government. Following the speculation that the wives of the interior minister and the senate president may not be unconnected with the consultancy firm, its imperative on investigative journalists and vigilant citizen reporters to establish its ownership for posterity purpose. While NIS should go through the proper processes of declaration of vacancy and the subsequent recruitment exercise that will follow, President Jonathan should, for the sake of sanity and social justice to the dead and injured, sack Abba Moro with immediate effect and allow him to face criminal prosecution in the law court. Whatever that may tie the hands of the president from doing the needful in this case, conscious citizens will not hesitate to accuse him of being an accessory to the fact of premeditated murder. Justice to the dead, justice to the injured, justice to the Nigerian people!
