Above Only Daily Devotional cgmglobal.org/aboveonly Saturday, January 24 ARISE AND TAKE DOMINION Acts 2:14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words. -------------------------------------------------------------------- The hope and lives of many are tied to your rising and taking dominion. You may never know how many lives can be blessed and impacted if you will just stand up right now and do what God has laid in your heart to do. Do not be afraid. Let the inspiration of God and the zeal of doing Gods Will consume you (John 2:17). If you arise and take dominion, Gods name will be glorified through you. Following the outpouring of the Holy Ghost in Acts Chapter 2, a little confusion was about to arise. Some people thought that the disciples were drunk and were beginning to mock them. Now, we may never know the effect that this misconception may have eventually resulted in if it had been allowed to continue. But I thank God that Peter stood up and said “listen to me, all of you!” Following the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, he arose and took dominion of the situation. Instead of feeling bad or complaining about the misconception that was occurring, Peter stood up, lifted up his voice and three thousand souls were eventually added to the kingdom that day, Acts 2:41. Peter had something to say. He followed the leading of the spirit and the Holy Spirit gave him utterance. Bear in mind that this is the same Peter that repeatedly denied Christ 3 times about 50 days before. Follow the promptings and inspiration of the Holy Spirit, as He leads you to transform the lives of others. It may be that you need to arise and speak to a situation in your own life that it changes and aligns with Gods Word. Whether it is for yourself or for others, I declare that Gods grace for dominion is upon you and that, you will do things that previously appeared impossible for you to do. This year, a new spirit is upon you; the spirit of dominion. PRAYER FOCUS: Pray today that the Spirit of dominion that is in you will be stirred up.
