What is sad is not just the inability of a self-acclaimed man of integrity to present proof of the qualifications he claims to have, the saddest thing in my view is that by virtue of S.318 C of the Constitution, the type of certificate in question is the lowest of the lowest of the lowest (lowest to the third degree) minimum qualification required for the position. Another sad part is that majority of the people supporting or opposing this issue WOULD NEVER consider hiring anyone with such low qualification as their maiguard, but yet, they have no problem rationalizing same for the for the HIGHEST office of the land. Supporting your candidate doesnt mean letting your brains go on holiday. You can still ask questions, demand accountability and at the same time, support whomever you wish. It takes nothing off you. This certificate scandal would certainly help expose the rot that pre-existed, and was entrenched in the Nigerian Army for decades. If you ever watched the State of the Union address last night and still call yourself a patriot, just wear your HYPOCRISY badge with a swag. KPISH! Victoria Ibezim-Ohaeri
