After a couple of walk-ons this weekend at the Tower and Spartan Airsoft, weve got a handful of events on the horizon for August. At the end of the month we have the long-awaited, often moved Brit-Tac Op Shining Light at Copehill Down. Well be joining the insurgent forces for this one, alongside the Shadowstalkers: if youve never played Copehill, there are still places available. Weve got the majority of the team heading to this one, it should be an excellent hard fought weekend! Prior to Shining Light, weve got two very different events booked for the 9/10th August: A few of the guys are heading to Combat South for the annual Vietnam re-enactment event, In Country. We should have players on both sides, so that should be an interesting experience. Whilst the Namsofters are battling it out in their ERDLs and pyjamas, well also have 6 of us (plus one or two extras) travelling to Battle Lakes for Infiltration Airsofts third event, Op Uncharted. As with their previous events, they are really looking to shake things up with some nice touches: and its been far too long since we spent a full 24 hours in the woods!
