Age of Empires Tip of the Day: it can be difficult to manage both your army and economy when playing. If you have to choose, spend more time focusing on the latter, as the larger economy will usually win. One tip for helping with this is to rebind your Find idle villager hotkey to something easily accessible, like spacebar. Spam this key often throughout the game and quickly reassign idle villagers. Remember, idle villagers are worse than nonexistent ones: not only are they not helping your economy, they take up population as well.
