Alhamdulilah we are amongst those who were able to witness the beginning of Ramadan! Only Allah(SWT) knows how many fasts we will be able to keep and this may be our last Ramadan so make the most of each day insha’Allah. The shaytaan are locked up so they only thing preventing you from doing good deeds will be our own nafs(desires) so fight against it. As promised I’m going to share the sections of the Quran each day which you have to read each day so we can complete the Quran for this Ramadan insha’Allah. Do it in any language you wish to but try to at least aim for both Arabic and read the translation in your own language (2 Qurans completed :) ) Remember you can split this up according to your own schedules i.e split the pages and read after each salah etc. Whatever works best for you but plan your days and stick to the plan! Although there many reflection points, I will insha’Allah be sharing only one with each section which will be difficult to do as there are so many lessons to be learnt but it’s quality over quantity so insha’Allah you can ponder over that one point on a daily basis. Please share as remember the reward of a good deed is multiplied during Ramadan :) So here it goes Bismillah… Ramadan Day 1: Start off with Surah Fatiha and read up to Surah Baqarah verse 223 Reflective point: There are 3 types of people described at beginning of Surah Baqarah; the believers, the disbelievers and the hypocrites. Verse no.8 where Allah(SWT) mentions how some people say they believe but in reality they do not. Which category do we fall in? Look at the characteristics and self-evaluate yourself as we all have weaknesses and make dua especially in this beautiful month. Ya Rabb, protect us against the characteristics of the hypocrites and make us amongst the TRUE believers, Ameen
