Alinafe Botha, a Form 3 student at Jacaranda School for Orphans, spoke at TEDxYouth Lilongwe on 16th November 2014 about the challenges girls face in Malawi to stay in school and complete their secondary education, especially due to the threat of early marriages and the lack of free secondary schools in Malawi. This video was filmed in Blantyre where the live stream from Lilongwe was beamed. The first 2 minutes of the talk are missing as the Live stream was faulty. The images are pale as filmed from a projection on a wall, but the sound is fine.
