Allahs Messenger said: The person closest to me on the Day of Judgement is the one who sent the most Salat [1] upon me. [Ref: Tirmidhi , Hasan. ] [1] salat means to send prayers and blessing upon the prophet. You can do it any language using any combination of words provided it does not allude to shirq or kufr or something that is reprehensible . Nevertheless, sticking to the tashahud /durood the prophet (s.a.w) taught is better or a shorter version of it is Allahumma salli wa baarik `ala muhammad (oh allah send peace and blessings upon muhammad)
