Amazing how people forget where they were coming from. Today, politics is not for the poor. Yesterday, the poor were overwhelmingly supported to win elections. Today, it is no more God. Yesterdey, God will decide for us who our leaders will be. It is true those who fail to learn from history are condemned to repeating the mistakes of the past Is it the quest for power, food, security or what? That is making people lose their sense of reasoning? Yes, we have got opinions and rights to decide what we want, however, what is lacking is looking at the future. Selling our rights for a plate of porage is unfortunate. We need not quarel over what is done rightly. Quarel will only come when we are taken for a ride. I call on all delegates to look at the future and the good of the Plateau people who elected them in the first instance. Some say there is no conscience in politics, but that is not correct. Vote for leaders of intergrity. Do not be intimidated. Do not be cajoled into the wrong decisions. Tomorrow will defend you all. We are truely greater together when we collectively decide who govern us.
