America,OPEC, and Gaddafi or Follow the Black Gold by Yarahyahu Yasharal Ive stated this before, but Ill reiterate..you most look at the world through a WORLDS EYE VIEW and not a limited American report on what is happening. It is in Americas own self interest to always seem to be the benevolent aid to countries in need, and not the cause or partner to the cause for more problems. I am not saying that America is ALWAYS WRONG,always malevolent,or always the aggressor or party to the aggressor, but in that same line if logic, you cannot assume that they are NEVER these also. Ask yourself a serious question:how does a country still in its infancy come to sit in a leading position on a world stage monetarily, militarily, and in policy and enforcement of such,of nations literally hundreds if not thousands of years its seniors? I will try and steer clear of speculation and stick to measurable and unarguable facts during this discussion. Particularly,I wish to address the apparant attack on third world independence in an effort to control world-wide economics and power retention by western civilization,to which America, amongst other nations,is guilty of. As a prime example,I will present you with OPEC. OPEC is the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Companies, responsible for most of the worlds oil supply, which in turn is used in gasoline production, textiles, manufacturing, and a slew of other industries. OPEC is one of the only points of control for African and South American countries in the entire world stage, being outmatched militarily by their northern neighbors. Almost since its birth, the countries which are the member parties of OPEC have been attacked, sanctioned,or manipulated by the US and other nations nonstop. Be it direct military action or subversive politics or money manipulation, the members of OPEC have seen non-stop intervene with their sovereignty from outside nations, and often directly from America. Below,I will post the Members of OPEC,and also links to US involvement in those countries. Instead of presenting you with my own argument,I will show you my research and let you from your own. If you would like to get a surface understanding if what OPEC is,visit the link below: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/OPEC Am ember States and US Involement Algeria After a history of war between us and Algiers,a pact to end the enslavement of Christians in Algiers strengthened US-Algeria ties.
