And how do we get strong in the Lord? Here is one answer by Jesus: John 15:7 “If ye abide in me (Jesus), and my words abide in you, ye shall aiteo/ask (demand, expect and require as due by covenant promise) what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. 8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.” So the spoil of Jesus goes to those who do just like Jesus did, as we are as He is in this world. It is waiting for those who will stir themselves up into the facts of this Great Work and exercise the dominion of Jesus over the devil and creation to release those blessings of healing, peace and love in God for themselves and others. But no pressing-in means no sharing in His victory on this earth in this life. As Peter explained at one miracle: Acts 3:12 “And when Peter saw it, he an-swered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk? …16 And his name (Jesus) through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.” By the right use of that name Jesus could share with Peter one of the spoils from Satan. Who will nurture and labor on the facts of the Redemption work of Jesus until they see and operate in and with the Mighty Arm of God? It is available to all who will labor to enter the rest of God. Who will labor with these facts to make Communion the source of life and blessing God designed it for? Isa 53:12 “Therefore will I (Father God) divide him (Jesus, the Suffering Servant) a portion with the great, and he (Jesus) shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he (Jesus) hath poured out his soul unto death: and he (Jesus) was numbered with the transgressors; and he (Jesus) nasa/bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.”
