Anon post: I have a three week old baby girl who is formula fed. We started her on SMA gold which she was on for the first two weeks but switched to Cow and Gate as she was getting very windy and constipated on SMA. She was drinking up to 4 or 5 oz on the SMA but now drinking 3 to 4 on the C & G.. She is less windy and more settled but still getting constipated (Ive been giving cooled water for this). Is the decrease in the amount shes drinking normal and maybe just down to the constipation? We are considering switching to a comfort milk now. Any advice?
