Anonymous reply to the post regarding the changing rooms in Waendel Leisure Center; We try really hard to keep everything clean for our customers, but to be honest sometimes it feels like were fighting a losing battle. I, and many of the rest of the staff at Waendel went to college for 2/3+ years to study and earn good qualifications, and yet we spend a large portion of our time scraping chewing gum off of the floor where people literally just spit it out because they cant be assed to walk 2 feet to the bin. (No lie, its a job thats done weekly in the reception area). Cleaning is part of our job and we do it happily, to a good standard too! Everyone works really hard. But the general public need to have some respect for the centre too and stop treating it like one giant trash can just because they only pay £14.99 a month!
