Another 343 Industries flop? Third day of the Halo 4 Global Championship and already the playlist is at 2,800+ players (this same time of day), about 1,000 less than yesterday and almost 4,000 less as on the opening day... and eliminations have not even begun yet. Could be too early to tell, but judging by how these things have eventuated before, it is not a good sign - moreso considering that one of the most popular playlists (Infinity Slayer) has 1,000+ player over the Championship. As a player I could just stay in a corner waiting for someone to find me and eliminate me, as long as I play 20 games per week I would still qualify. Then there is the other aspect that the game mode is free-for-all, no team effort whatsoever so maybe that siphons the fun out of it for most players. Will continue to get on this see how it goes.
