Another SMS ---->>>>>Hi Alai... Ive jus read the bus issues at the boarders and i think its true.. Though my experience at the boarder is slightly different..... I frequent the busia Uganda boarder. Mostly for my studies and use the easy coach bus company... To me thos os one of the best buses to use when using this route.... The problem comes in when you are tracelling back from kampala. The kampala booking office guys are doing some kind of business with the passengers lagguges. For as long as you carry anything new.... You get taxed irrespective of wether you got it fr urself or fr business. They force you to pay fr your laugage... Sometimes upto or equal to the amount they charge as busfare... What happened to the 10kg allowance fr the travelers laugage... They say its the revenue guys at the boarder who are making them do that..... I dont know if that is true. But other busses do not have the same problem.... I really dont like what they are doing to Travellers.... They do it so confidently that you would think its da law... I do not know about the boarder policy on buying stuff from uganda to kenya but the fact that they are prying on other peoples laugages is worrying.... And so not fair.
