Antonio Carlos Jobim emerged from Brazils burgeoning bossa nova - TopicsExpress

Antonio Carlos Jobim emerged from Brazils burgeoning bossa nova movement of the early-1960s. The quietly powerful Stone Flower was recorded in 1970 at Rudy Van Gelders studio in New Jersey and produced by Creed Taylor. This 2LP reissue was mastered from the original analog tapes by Bernie Grundman Mastering Studios at 45rpm, pressed on audiophile-grade 180g vinyl at Pallas in Germany, and comes in a Stoughton case-wrapped gatefold jacket. Each of the 1,500 copies is numbered with a gold foil stamp.
