Are there illustrators out there willing to work for exposure alone? Or on spec? I recently self published a middle grade novel, need a good cover, and cant afford an artist. I was hoping I could find someone who is trying to break into the cover illustration market and just needs a meaty project to get them started. Or perhaps Im going in completely the wrong direction and you all have suggestions on how to solve this particular dilemma?
