Writers, poets, artists, architects, sculptors, musicians, all us creative fuquers occupy a space that is replete with references to other contributors to our crafts. Most accomplished writers in English have read Shakespeare, and so there are certainly other stories than Shakespeares which feature or turn upon Shakespearian tropes. Classical musicians unconsciously quote Mozart or Beethoven. Every poet since Petrarch has tried the sonnet. ETC.
