As Chairman of the CPF I would like to thank Westville SAPS for their passion and dedication in fighting crime and keeping us safe in Westville. Well done to the station management: Colonel Emmanuel, Lt Colonel Stewart and Lt Colonel Sikhosana, we are proud of you and your team. Sgt Clark, thank you for your constant input into the community, your efforts are always appreciated. Constables Laatz and Easterbrook our sector commanders have done an awesome job, thank you. Too many SAPS members to name, but a big thanks to all of you involved in all departments, well done for making Westville such a safe area to live in. I would also like to say thank you to my fellow committee members for your time and effort, without you we could not have made the strides we did, well done. This is my first term as chairman, we have been faced with challenges, mainly red tape and finances, this said we have taken these head on and made huge strides. We also have the community to thank for this, so please give yourselves a huge pat on the back. A special thanks to Westville Rotary Club, the Olive and Oil Cafe, Durban West Tourism, Westville Country Club and Dubcorp Motors for your contributions, both financially and for your time and effort. A huge thanks to the neighbourhood watches operating in the greater Dawncliffe area, your efforts have shown how community involvement can put a stop to crime. You are an example to others and we hope to grow this initiative to the rest of Westville in 2015. I would also like to take this opportunity of behalf of the CPF and SAPS Westville to wish you all well over the festive season and we wish you a great and prosperous 2015. Thank you Westville. ONCE AGAIN WE ASK THAT YOU PLEASE REFRAIN FROM DRINKING AND DRIVING, ITS JUST NOT WORTH IT. THERE ARE SO MANY OPTIONS TODAY, USE THEM. Cheers, Mike Myers
